2023 CAPathon

Είστε έτοιμοι να κάνετε τη διαφορά; Λάβετε μέρος στην εκδήλωση Greener CAPathon: Local Action Design στις 17 Ιουνίου στις 10:00 και συνεργαστείτε με άλλους νέους ή με την ομάδα σας για να σχεδιάσετε τοπικές δράσεις που προωθούν την Κοινή Αγροτική Πολιτική, Βιώσιμη Γεωργία και αντιμετωπίζουν την Κλιματική Αλλαγή. Θα μπορούσατε να είστε μία από τις δύο νικήτριες ομάδες που θα λάβετε 1000 EUR για να υλοποιήσετε την ιδέα σας!

‘Μάθετε την ΚΑΠ: Προς μια πιο Πράσινη ΚΑΠ’ είναι το τέταρτο συνεχόμενο έργο ευαισθητοποίησης σχετικά με την Κοινή Αγροτική Πολιτική με στόχο να αναδείξει τα ωφελήματα προς όλους τους πολίτες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης καθώς υποστηρίζει τους αγρότες να εξασφαλίσουν σταθερό εφοδιασμό σε προσιτές τιμές τροφίμων σε όλη την ΕΕ εστιάζοντας επίσης στη θετική συμβολή προς ένα πιο βιώσιμο μέλλον.

Η μονοήμερη εκδήλωση “Greener CAPathon: Local Action Design” θα συγκεντρώσει τουλάχιστον 25 συμμετέχοντες που θα εργαστούν σε μικρές ομάδες για να σχεδιάσουν τοπικές δράσεις που θα προωθήσουν την ευαισθητοποίηση σχετικά με την ΚΑΠ και τα οφέλη της για τη βιώσιμη γεωργία και την κλιματική αλλαγή. 

Η εκδήλωση θα συμπεριλαμβάνει παρουσίαση της ΚΑΠ στην Κύπρο, ένα Design Thinking εργαστήρι και μια παρουσίαση πώς κάνουμε pitching. Η ομάδα του έργου θα παρέχει καθοδήγηση και υποστήριξη στους συμμετέχοντες καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας, καθώς και θα συντονίζει και θα προωθεί την εκδήλωση. Στο τέλος της ημέρας, δύο νικήτριες ιδέες θα επιλεγούν και θα χρηματοδοτηθούν με 1000 ευρώ η καθεμία, για την υποστήριξη της επιτυχούς υλοποίησης των τοπικών δράσεων που σχεδιάστηκαν από τους συμμετέχοντες. Η Επιτροπή Αξιολόγησης θα αποτελείτε από διάφορα άτομα που δραστηριοποιούνται εγχώρια στον τομέα του περιβάλλοντος και της Γεωργίας καθώς και μέλη του προγράμματος

Η διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης θα είναι 8 ώρες και θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε μία μόνο μέρα στο Gardens of the Future στη Λευκωσία και η συμμετοχή είναι δωρεάν. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες, αναλυτικό πρόγραμμα καθώς και τη φόρμα συμμετοχής μπορείτε να βρείτε εδώ:

Οι συμμετέχοντες στο Greener CAPathon πρέπει να πληρούν τα πιο κάτω κριτήρια:

  • Οι συμμετέχοντες θα πρέπει να είναι ηλικίας 18-35 ετών.
  • Να έχετε έντονο ενδιαφέρον για το θέμα του έργου. (πχ. ΚΑΠ, την Κλιματική Αλλαγή, την Βιώσιμη Γεωργία.)
  • Οι ομάδες μπορούν να έχουν μέγεθος από ένα άτομο έως πέντε. Ένας υποψήφιος/α είναι ευπρόσδεκτος να εγγραφεί μόνος/η του/της και στην αρχή της εκδήλωσης οι διοργανωτές θα βοηθήσουν όλους να βρουν μια ομάδα.
  • Όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες θα πρέπει να τηρούν τον κώδικα δεοντολογίας της εκδήλωσης, εάν κάποιος δεν τον υπακούσει θα αφαιρεθούν αυτόματα από την εκδήλωση και από τα κανάλια κοινωνικής δικτύωσης της εκδήλωσης.

Code of Conduct for Greener CAPathon: Local Action Design Event

The Greener CAPathon: Local Action Design event aims to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. In order to ensure that the event runs smoothly and effectively, we ask all participants to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect others: Participants are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or opinions. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Collaborate effectively: Participants are encouraged to work collaboratively with their team members and other participants to achieve the goals of the event. They should communicate effectively, listen actively, and provide constructive feedback.

3. Use appropriate language: Participants are expected to use appropriate language during the event. Offensive, derogatory, or inflammatory language is not allowed.

4. Follow instructions: Participants should follow the instructions of the event organizers and facilitators. This includes respecting time limits, adhering to the event schedule, and following safety guidelines.

5. Respect the environment: Participants are expected to respect the environment during the event. They should dispose of waste properly and avoid damaging the event venue or equipment.

6. Follow ethical principles: Participants are expected to follow ethical principles throughout the event. They should not engage in any illegal or unethical activities.

7. Report any issues: Participants should report any issues or concerns to the event organizers or facilitators immediately. This includes any violations of the code of conduct or any other issues that may arise during the event.

By participating in the Greener CAPathon: Local Action Design event, participants agree to abide by this code of conduct. The organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including removing participants who violate the code of conduct, in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.


Greener CAP Capathon Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility: Participation in the Greener CAP Capathon is open to individuals and teams who are at least 18 years old and have an interest in sustainable agriculture, climate change, and raising awareness of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The event is open to participants worldwide.

2. Idea Submission: All participants must submit an idea that tackles an issue related to the awareness raising of the CAP, Sustainable Agriculture, and/or Climate Change. The idea must be composed of a presentation and a video explaining the idea. Each team or individual is responsible for ensuring that their idea meets the following criteria:

– The idea will be designed within the event and will constitute an original idea

– The idea will not contain any trademark, logo, or other signs protected by copyright or IP rights

– The idea is not subject to a previous contract with a third party

– The idea follows the Code of Conduct of the event

– The idea does not contain any pornographic, sexually explicit, or discriminatory content (especially discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, political orientation of individual/groups) or that incite violence towards a living creature, or might be defined as offensive, obscene, and inappropriate

– The idea will not violate the applicable law or encourage unlawful behaviors

– The idea will include the visibility disclaimers of the European Union funding as identified by the organizers

3. Team Leader: Each project team will appoint a leader who will be responsible for the payment procedures and reporting period.

4. Awarded Ideas: Ideas that are awarded will be implemented by July 2023. The following payment arrangements will apply:

– 50% of the award will be provided to the team at the start of their project, and the other 50% at the end of the project

– The payment will be made via bank transfer to the leader of the awarded project idea

– The leader of the winning team will provide the project team all receipts for the amount of the award.

5. Use of Images and Audiovisual Material: Participants and/or winners consent to the downloading and use of their pictures (or video) and to the reference, reproduction, and saving of their image, voice, name, nomination, and other distinctive elements and features of their ideas in any way such as electronic and print media, on broadcast media or audiovisual content platforms, on social networks or platforms, on electronic or other promotional material intended for the purpose of organizing, promoting, and advertising the Program.

6. Cooperation with Organizers: Participants consent to cooperate with the organizers for the production of any audiovisual material that may be created for the implementation of the Capathon and the awarding of prizes, at the discretion of the organizers, in accordance with the present detailed terms.

7. Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team that violates any of the terms and conditions outlined above.

8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants via email and on the Capathon website.

9. Governing Law: These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the European Union.
